Day 6-- I could see an embryo in every single black copper marans egg! Very hard to see, but they're there.
The downside of today-- my 3 year old got too excited and snatched an egg, and accidentally dropped it on our bath mat. #11, Parsley, now has a displaced air cell and I'm not sure that it'll survive. I put it back in the incubator in a little hammock so the blunt end is upright, but there isn't much more I can do.
Still, we have 14 out of 15 eggs that are right on track!
