My first hatch update.

My handsome little Mojo has discovered that he can crow like our big rooster. It's like hearing a baby say it's first words when you hear them crow for the first time. I'm still trying to determine the roos and hens in my polish nobody wants to speak up!!lol

Like a bunch of feathered puppies they are. Go outside and yell hey MOJO (I guess he's their leader,) they all come running. Love to be petted. I try to remind them they are chickens but so far they aren't listening.

Well sad and extremely heart broken. A bobcat got my Lil mojo last night. As if that wasn't bad enough yesterday was my birthday as well. I honestly can't stop crying.

No everyone else is okay thank goodness. I call this hatch my fro babies but since MOJO has passed I have 4 golden polish and 3 lavender Americanas in the flock. They now sleep beside my kitchen door.
