My first incubation experience!

Ok...the chick I posted about earlier is now out. It had been struggling all day poor thing, it doesn't look as lively as the others that hatched...hoping it is looking stronger in the morning.

He may just be tired of all the day long pipping. Will be fine hopefully. Congrats and good luck with the chicks :)

Ok...chick number 5 is still ok...I have moved him/her into the brooder...separated into its own cardboard section under the heater for now..just until the other chicks get used to it being around. Good new on the ducks eggs...both pipped and one is making good progress, a fairly big hole has appeared in the last 30 mins so we might have a duckling by the end of the day. :)

Great.... He'll be fine. Congrats on the duck eggs.... Never seen no duckling (just hatched) yet would really appreciate for some more pics :)

Oh...not sure where that is on my iPad...all I can see is the flag. Anyway...got home from work and I have 2 lovely little duckling waiting for me. They are having a little sleep, resting their heads on each other! I'll take some pics in a minute. Chick number 5 is very small and seems to have curly blond hair/fluff.
