my first incubation!

i am incubating some barred rock eggs that were given to me. the eggs will be candled on days 7, 14, and 18!

just candled! i can fairly sure see a developing embryo in 2/3 eggs. i can even see the blood veins in the clear one. the other two are extremely porous, but i can still see an embryo in one!

three days remain until hatch and the eggs (at least one) are doing well! one clear maybe one quitter or maybe two chicks!!! one i can already see the embryo moving around inside!!!

I feel your excitement I'm first timer and have 45 growing strong and its day 17 ! So ready for lock down and chicks! the 27th I'm going to to do a batch of EEs and I think they are polish or poland chickens either way I say they where a crazy feather hat this hatch is barnyard mix of Cali whites cali grey off production rir and leghorns
