I got my first incubator and egg turner today, both are Little Giant brand. I can't wait to get a chance to use it!

Congratulations on your new bator. It is exciting when you hatch your first babies (or all your own babies for that matter). There are a lot of people on here that do not like LG's. I have one and I have never had a moments trouble with it. I also have a Hovabator 1588 and I have no problem with it either. If you are like me, you will be looking for any kind of eggs just to try it out lol.

yes I for one dislike the LG.....few things to remember to help your hatch.

1. keep it in a room that has good heat control around 75 or so.
2. once you get the temp set , do NOT keep adjusting it'
3. do NOT open it except when needed, the less the best.

trouble with the LG they take a long time to recover temp., so alot make the mistake of adjust temp up....high temp spike kill most.

Many chicks have been hatched in the LG , but most fail because they mess with controls to much.
