LOL...its a morning ritual...I am very routine orintated in the am. set coffee at night-its made when I get up. make cup of joe for me let dogs out-boot up comouter BYc for 20 minutes get Dh coffee with a kiss jump in shower 20 minutes later Im walking out the door for work-it works

I am an idiot -so that stupid scale I bought???... was for up to 2.2 lbs NOT up to 22lbs. dang it I went to weigh my girl tonight and it all came up error!!! well at least most are over 2.2lbs huh? Im whipping through that 50 lb bag like nothing it will be gone by sunday! thats what 5 days? IDK but that was fast!

OH NO!!!! This is where you take your hand and smack your forehead several times! I bought mine from Wal-mart, it goes up to 11 pounds and is digital

I put a metal dog bowl on the scale and zero it out and then the chicken and wait for it to calmly stand there (after they couldn't stand with both feet on the scale!)

All that because we had dinner Wed Night eh Nat? Well I understand... Mom's idea of "putting up the chickens" is closing the pop door. Even if some are still out. No food, no water, Im lucky if I can get her to do a beak count. This is also why I rarely go anywhere overnight. I have my friend coming from an hour away each day when I come to Onchiota

And I can appreciate the "not my addicition" thing, but I feed her cats, change her litterboxes.. chase the little B******* when they dont come in at night. I only ask for help once in a while, to me there should just be some basic coherence... "hey I do your laundry, cook you dinner, I need 10 minutes of your time" but no reciprocity I guess ((steps off the soapbox))

I hear you loud and clear but Since brindle is bringing me my surprise-and With winter coming I just cant do what I had in mind and Im ok with that-look on the chickenstock thread I listed what Im selling if interested??? I thought about haveing 10 individual heated waterers and food containers and that really is alot besides all teh cleaning invovled so I decided to keep the BLRW's, OE's, lav silkies, SLB's-of course-, and all my pet hens that I ve had since the beginning-the rest is going:-( That means I can have bigger pens

GOOD LORD!!! I got sick all of these roos running around so I snatched 5 of the BLRW roos up and stuck them in with the meaties-to fatten them up too! I go down to pick those fatties up and put in coop...and....drum roll please....they were all in there themselves!!!! I KNOW it had alot to do with the roos I put in with them! They went to look for a bedtime spot and went into coop and the meaties followed suit! Why didnt I think of that a week ago and a bottle of doans back pills!!! Thats what I will be doing next time I guess... putting some roos in with them!
