YAAAAAHOOOOOO ! ! ! I have meat in the freezer! I was scared to death raising these things in the heat, BUT it all worked out and they all made it to the end! I have 25 done, and 12 more for this next weekend. First ones were 9 wks and 3 days old. Average weight of my meat packages are over 6 pounds each. I never cooped mine, and they free ranged every day (not that they move much).


You are gonna be so happy when you are finished! Good luck to you!

ya kathy!!!! I think we all graduated to a new new level of chicken knowledge. We've made it through; Incubation, hatching, chicks, layers & laying, culling, developing breeding projects, and now CX's!
What's in store for us next year? I'M EXCITED!!! Do you guys know what your going to be up to?
I'm going small time commercial, fertile eggs/chicks. AND i'm going to try ducks.
