My first pip!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so excited!! I set the eggs at 9:45 pm on April 21 so I guess today is day 21. I came home to a pip. Now the real waiting begins, eh? It's a dorking.

Well she hatched sometime between 2 am and 6 am because that's when I was sleeping. She was still wet at 6 so it was probably closer to that time. Still no other pips. Today is day 22. Fingers crossed!!

Oh, but she moved the other eggs getting out of hers. Are the moved eggs a lost cause?

How exciting you've got a fuzzy. The others should be fine. When mine were hatching they rolled the others all over the place. And all that were viable still hatched. Some folks use shelf liner to keep them more stable.

I just hatchered 12 for 12, it was like a bowling alley in there...patience.......

If none of the others hatch, would she be okay with my 3 week old RIR pullets? I'm afraid to put her with them...but my husband thinks we should if no others hatch.
