Hi Everyone. I would like to share my experience with quails so far. Well it al started where i bought 5quails for my self for pets. They are awesome to have and i really enjoy them. Thats til i tasted quail meat and eggs. Then i said that i won't be able to eat my pets so i decided to build my own incubator to get more chicks and meat. So i build my own incubator then i had 4 chicks that hatched with the test of the incubator then i went and build my own brooder box. Now i have 35 fertile eggs in the incubator and they sould hatch within the next 3days. Then i realised that that is allot of chicks an will need space for them in 4 weeks time. So I'm now busy building a quail tunnel that is 11m long and 1.5m wide. That wil be one of two tunnels that I'm building because i already have another 50 eggs waiting to be incubated. I reall am proud with what i did so far and can't wait to sell quails to people for pets, meat or the eggs.. so here is some of the pics of al my DIY projects

Hi and welcome too BYC.
Well you seem on the right track! Nice stuff happening.
I can't say much more and I'm sure fellow BYCers will drop by and give tips.
Cheers and keep us updated.

I'm on day 15 and half of incubation and i have pips and allot of egg movement. Cannot wait for them to finish hatching...

That's great news! Try to resist the urge to interrupt or open the incubator unless it's a real necessity, and let nature take it's course. Trust me everything will run smoother. Soon you will have a bunch of cute little quail chicks to share their pictures with the rest of us!
Keep us posted!
