A guy my husband works with used to have pheasants. He had a cabinet incubator & hatcher. Well, this guy got out of pheasants & was selling all his equipment.
My husband just bought me an incubator and hatcher... fully loaded with the see-through doors!!!

They're used, but in good shape.
I'm so excited! Now, if only I had some hatching eggs...

*grins and rushes off to check the hatching egg section*

I am soooo filled with envy/and very eggcited for you!!! keep us informed in your new adventures!!

Yeah, he is great!
He also grabbed up TWO 10-box metal nesting boxes with the roll-out egg thingies & nest pads. AND... a new "nursery" coop that is waaaaaay bigger than the both of the ones I'm using now.
He even got a good deal - didn't pay too much, but didn't rip the guy off, either.
I just don't know what to do about eggs... I don't really have room for anymore chicks this year, but I sooooo want to "fire it up!"

Congratulations on the great purchase

. Be careful though... once you fire those things up you may never stop

. I got a great deal on a cabinet 'bator a couple of months ago and was given an indefinite loan of a cabinet hatcher... both have been running full time since about June! We hatch and sell the chicks and ducklings, keeping only a few birds for ourselves.

LOL!
When my husband told me about the set, I asked him... "you do know how many eggs that will hold, right?"
I even explained that with the hatcher, I can stagger batches & have a couple dozen chickes hatching per week.
I consider that a fair warning... I hope he's prepared!

I can't believe he actually got both. All I needed was the incubator. I'm going to take that as an incentive to get more birds... my husband must have meant for me to get more, right?
LOL!

LOL, first step..... get yourself a good calendar! I have so many staggered batches going that I had to resort to keeping track of everything on an online calendar. I keep a printed copy on top of the hatcher and amend it as necessary.

I'd say you've got a "keeper" of a DH! Not only did he get you both a 'bator and a hatcher, but he got a good deal on them.
