So, my rooster got bumble foot. I noticed it first on Thursday, and over the weekend saw his foot get worse so.. I took action last night (Monday night). I felt so bad. I wanted to cry but I picked myself up, watched a ton of videos and went at it. I’m nervous I didn’t get all of the kernel, but of what I could see, there wasn’t any left. I just hope it works. 🥲 we will see. I didn’t take any pictures because I was very emotional, but I can see he is already walking on his foot better than before.

Great job powering through and helping your rooster! Without treatment, he could have taken a turn for the worse. It sounds like you did everything right! Just make sure to keep an eye on him and check again soon to make sure it isn't getting reinfected. I would spray with Veterycyn (spelling) and wrap it up so infection doesn't start. ALSO, please make sure to wear gloves and wash your hands, as bumblefoot is a form of staph infection, which can infect humans.

I did all of those. I put triple antibiotics on it, then wrapped it good, and washed my hands in dawn power wash and very hot water. He is hardly limping compared to before. ❤️ I’ll check on it in a day or two.
