My first time incubating eggs: day 10

At about 8 PM today the humidity in the incubator went up to 81% so that's why in the picture below there are many sponges in the incubator.

You mean in the place in the middle I am supposed to put the water in? I did

This year I tried something different. I went for between 20 and 30% humidity, with plans to raise much higher on lockdown. The idea is that the eggs are supposed to lose fluid as the incubation progresses.

That is how you control the humidity. More water, higher humidity. Less or no water, lower humidity. I have this incubator and love it.
