Thanks for the advice guys, it's a little nerve wracking to have chicks hatch for the first time. But about a hundred times better than having chicks in my bath tub!
I think it's so funny though. After ordering chicks this year I had already hit my chick quota for the year according to my DH. But one the hens goes broody and he almost seemed to be looking forward to the experience. We now have a BA that has been broody in the hen house for a week. I was afraid of what he's say when he found her. He just said cassually "OH, another one of the hens has gone broody". Does he realise the eggs hatch into chicks?
