That's worth waiting for such a pretty egg.
I have a naked neck and it doesn't lay tinted eggs. she lays medium brown eggs. i thought they did too but mine just start laying.
A good thing is that I get colred eggs from my amauracana's all kinds of colors very pretty.

our tinted layers are just laying brown. we will try again for our next purchase of chicks. does anyone know of a reliable source? we usually get ours form http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/ although i think we got the last bunch from the semi-local http://www.esteshatchery.com/
