My first try

So I've been browsing these forums for awhile and now the time has come. I picked up 6 baby chicks yesterday. 2 Rhode Island reds, 2 buff Orpingtons, and 2 barred rocks. I'm excited to watch them grow and join the chicken club!

oh they're so cute!!! mine are finally getting out of the awkward teenage stage

How long did it take to get to that stage? I've heard they grow fast but I have no clue how fast

Also they are flapping their wings as if they are attempting to fly. Are they gonna be able to fly soon?

Yes, chicks can fly at a very young age, not realy high but enough to fly up to the edge of an open box
