This is the standard chicken nipple for providing water, i think a rubber washer, and Teflon tape help keep it drip free......

I drilled 3/8 holes nd they are almost to big, so Teflon tape helps, maybe a safe silicon sealant.

This is the recycled version..............

I made mine with a 5 gallon bucket and PVC tubing. But mine leaks, any tricks? we put cockinig on it to prevent leak, but it still leaks.

they have some stuff called q-bond order it online its for plastics and metals works like jb weld but it is a powder you put on where you want the seal and drop some supper glue on the powder and it hardens instantly enough so that you can drill it sand it and paint it..

The nipples will leak if there is too much water pressure. A 5 gal bucket full of water is more pressure than the nipples can resist, so will leak around the metal stub.
