hi, my name is Hermes. I’m from Miami fl but after getting out of the Army and living everywhere in the continental US, from places like Seattle,WA, Dayton, OH, San Antonio, TX, amongst many other, my wife and I decided to move back to Florida but we stayed in the Northern part, about 45 minutes from Gainesville in a little town called Lake Butler. Here we bought a 5 acre farm and now we have a bunch of animals. We have a couple of donkeys, 5 sheep, 5 goats, 3 pigs that turned into 13, 15 geese, 14 turkeys, 20 ducks, about 15 bantams and 100 or so chickens, all the Bantams are Free range, some of the mixed chickens are also free range with the other fowl. I have 3 big pens for the rest of the chickens one of them currently has buff Orpingtons, the other has ameraucanas, and the largest one has Rhode Island reds, Barred Rocks, leghorns, Black sexlinks, gold sexlinks, cinnamon queens, autralorps and maybe a few other s that I can’t recall. In the near future I plan on adding a few more pens to separate a few more breeds. As I have about 150 eggs coming in the next few weeks from breeders with Ayam Cemani, silkies etc. Anyways here are some pictures of most the animals and parts of my set up.

Hi Hermes, it's nice to have you here! You sure have quite a variety of birds and other animals...they must keep you busy.
