My flock is now full - but, I think I may have a rooster?

I picked up 4 chicks yesterday along with 2 laying RIR's to complete my flock of 10.

The boy I bought them from was very nice - earning his living at the ripe age of 15 by hatching chicks and selling them on craigslist along with their eggs from older hens outside of his house in a little produce stand! However, he wasn't real sure what these chicks were.

I picked them because they were unique looking to me - aside from the barred one. Is it a barred rock or a plymouth rock? And is it a rooster? I noticed it's a teeny bit more aggressive even than the ones that are bigger.

Here is the barred in question of being a boy or girl.

Awww!

This one is my daughters. (Yes I roped my kids into this - I'll need help eventually lol)

No clue what she is? He was unsure.

These two are bonded to each other. The white one is the same from above.

Another of the beauty above. This one is mine. What the heck is she?

And last, what do you think this one will grow up to be?

My husband would kill me if he knew I had them in my bedroom on my bed lol - so hopefully he never finds these photos!

Thank you Golden Sparrow - any idea what breed they may be?

How old are they? The last one looks like it could be a rooster - possibly the barred rock too.

the rock is a cockerel and so is the last one. and the black and white looks to also be a cockerel maybe

I would have to agree. Looks like 3 roos to me. Oh, and a barred Rock is the same thing as a barred Plymouth Rock. I would say they are barnyard crosses.

The one that is your daughters could be a Columbian Rock Cross, it has clean legs right? No feathers on them? If it does have feathers look a little like a Light Brahma. They are cuties!

Your daughter's bird is a Delaware pullet. Barred one and last one are definitely boys. Barred rock looks to be pure. Last one is hard to say. Some red breeds feather in with patterns and this goes away when their big feathers come in. Definitely a boy though!

The one that is yours.. Could go either way.. Mixed breed most likely.
