My flock of a hen, a pullet,4 cockerels and 2 roosters(one is isolated)

So pretty. What is that white one as it almost looks like a frizzle but maybe he's just fluffed up.

Do you have plans or sticking with this ratio?

Just wondering as there was a time we had 5 silkie hens and 3 roosters who all got along great. After many months of them all living together peacefully, I started noticing my hens looking ragged. I sadly rehomed two of the roosters. It took a while but the hens started looking better again.

We are gonna separate them soon as they are getting mature and fight a lot. We have a spare cage separated into four compartments for each cockerel.

Why would you separate the roosters from each other? Unless they’re gamefowl, they can live together in the same space without hens.

These fellas are fighting frequently so I want to minimize that. They were fighting day before and one almost got killed so I want to separate them before it's too late.

Roosters fight a lot less without hens around. But that does depend on the space they have available. And it does look like they could be gamefowl mixes?
