Wow, its warming up here in WNC and the last few day have been very productive! I adoped two barred rocks and they are last years pullets. Have had them 1 weekand are now laying My two girls that we raised from chicks are now
laying very small eggs and they are white we found a nest under our building of 13 eggs and took them to a friend to see if they will hatch. And total over the last week we have had 2 dozen eggs from 7 hens

Crazy hens have decided that the dog house is a nesting box. We found 2 eggs in there the other day and yesterday one of my girls (April) came out squaking and sure enough she left me an egg . I have a feeling this summer is going to be interesting trying to find all the egg hiding spots .
