Blizzkona
In the Brooder
This is Cambria, my 5 month old bearded silkie/polish cross. She's a bit of a foodie and will peck my hands to see if I have any treats for her. I don't actually know if she or any of my chickens are females yet, but fingers crossed.

This is Blizzard, my non-bearded silkie/polish cross. She's about 2 months old and has a very chill, yet confident personality. My other two chicks like to follow her around and do whatever she is doing. I wouldn't be surprised if she became the top hen in the future, especially since Cambria doesn't have any leader-like traits at the moment.

This is Corona, my 2 month old pure bearded silkie. I have a sneaking suspicion that she might be a he but I really hope not. Corona is always ready for a nap. As soon as another chicken settles down, she likes to be next to them, under them, or at least under a wing. She also has a strange habit of walking around with her eyes closed, almost like sleepwalking.

Finally, we have Nikko (pronounce neeko), which means sunlight in Japanese. She's the same age as the two previous chicks and is a bearded silkie/polish/mystery cross. She definitely has the longest neck and legs out of all of them, and is probably the fastest runner and best at flying/jumping. She's a very nervous bird and the most skittish. She is always on high alert. The only way I can touch her is if Blizzard and/or Corona are next to her. Despite not having the adorable crest and general poofiness of the other chickens, she fits in perfectly. I, for one, think she has beautiful feathers.

If anyone has any ideas on what genders my chickies are, please let me know. Same for what else Nikko might be mixed with. She barely has any defining characteristics of a polish or silkie, but maybe I'm wrong.
