Thanks again for all the nice comments. I could never part with Brandy hen. Most folks think she has some game in her, but game hens don't usually lay many eggs, and Brandy lays five or six a week - even in cold weather. I'm rather new to this site, and I would like to see pics of all your birds. Is there an easy way to do that? I can't seem to isolate your other posts from the replies to mine. The chickens I have seen so far on this site just browsing are impressive. I hope all of mine remain healthy. I scoop their droppings out of the litter and the pen daily. Each week I add a lot of fresh premium pine shavings. The baby does have loose stool most of the time. I am hoping that yogurt will help. I plan to purchase some at the grocery store today. If that fails, I will take a sample to my vet.
