Last month, the couple that are our best friends here. She died totally unexpectedly. Just out of the blue... Left a great husband and 4 great well mannered children.
At the store on a typical day and her MIL walks in and said that Jenny had died. One of those moments that things don't register when someone tells you something that you just can't believe.

Thank you everyone it has been hard I am not goona lie. One of my closest friends who was one of mt dh best friends was also best friends with Dre, I think he is loosing his mind in grief now and I dont know how to help although I understand.

I will be making the funeral flower arrangements I picked up 250 long stem roses and 30 lillies and some white snaps so that I can make a beautiful cross and huge basket for Dre. I have an account ith a flower distributer so it allows me to "go all out" when needed.

The cop who shoot him has been charged with Manslaughter even though he says it was an accident. I just keep playing it over in my head. How Dre probably flinched when the gun was pointed at him and how shocked he must have been to hear the gun go off then to realize he had been hit and was bleeding. Oh the whole thing must have been so scarry for him.
This whole thing just seems like a horrible dream that we wont wake up from.

So sorry for your loss. It's never easy to loose those who are close to us.

You are going to have to quit playing that scene over and over in your head though. In the end it will only cause you more heartache and will bring on depression. Just settle with knowing he is in a much better place and would rather his friends rejoice over his life he led than to be filled with grief and miserable. You will see Dre again one day.
