I have 3 Cochins, about 3 1/2 months old. They were sold to me at 4 weeks; I was very surprised when 2 of them started "frizzling". (I am new to this breed, I didn't even know there was such a thing). They were solid black, then they began getting white on some of their feathers. Now some of the feathers are getting light tan on the ends. Can anyone tell me what this color is called? Or, do Cochins start out one color and completely change? Any idea what the end product will be?
They are really funny; they look like alien chickens, but watching them play together is really entertaining.
