My game hens fighting and killing a few chicks.

They are crowding in nest boxes resulting in a few dead chicks. Im almost ready to just take the chicks from them and raise them in a kiddy pool. Still sitting on about a dozen eggs (ive evenly distributed the remaining eggs and chicks to different nest boxes) my brooders are sitting on all of them. But i constantly find them on the coop floor (next boxes are 4' off the ground)

Bah i want them to raise them but not if they are gonna killa few. Not sure if thats just the norm.

To clarify ive got 5 chicks hatched a dozen more eggs or so to hatch. Theyve killed 3 chicks (sqished it appears)

Thats what I do.. Just takes a heat lamp and food. Lost maybe 10+ small bantam that way all in one night...Good luck
