My gander is limping...

I have four American Buff geese that I incubated and hatched last April( 1 goose. & 3 ganders). A few days ago I noticed the one gander(Albert) limping and I was dreading having to catch him to look at it. Yesterday I decided, today’s the day, and would you believe I chased that guy around for ten minutes! Until we were both stressed and I decided to just let him rest and try today.

Now all of my mixed flock are free range except in the evenings and over night, of course. And they all have buildings in their pen( which is protected by electric fencing) but the geese don’t really go in the buildings. So I don’t really have a place to corral him. I have to get a look at that foot, but I don’t want to cause him too much stress chasing him around.

Any suggestions on how to catch him?
