My geese are losing feathers around their beaks...

[The Six Embden Geese]

As this is my first time raising geese, I don't really know what this is. My six Embden geese are all losing feathers around their beaks leaving tiny little holes. My one male goose has also lost feather on both sides of his face. is this something to worry about or are they just a little to rough when digging in the dirt?

Do you notice them scratching these areas? Do they have water to bathe in? just want to rule out parasites.
Any chance of a vet looking at that?

Hi, I was wondering if you ever figured out what the issue was with your geese? I have a 1-year-old embden goose who has a similar patch under each eye and I’m trying to figure out the cause. Thanks for any help you can give!
