My German friend is coming in May to visit, rest, & chill out

I chuckled for a good 30 minutes after getting this email from Tom. He had called me to tell me it was coming & to ask for feedback on it. Some of the bits seem a bit unrealistic, unless they want to spend hours & hours & hours in a car in a single day. Seattle to LA is a looooooong way.

I'm of German descent, too. Give me task and tell me to organize or strategize it and I'm a whiz bang. Ask me to follow through on it or maintain it and it's a lot less interesting.
