My girl hasn't started to lay yet but she's getting there... Any day now... But basically she has mental breakdowns when she sees the babies who are a month or so old... Like not just bullying them she has a meltdown. Like a dog who sees a squirrel it can't catch behind a fence.... My chicken goes SQWAUK SQWUAK SQWUAK SQWUAK over and over like she's dying when she sees them. They isolated but where she can see them. But she's getting very annoying and needs to SHUT UP I love her to death but seriously why is she doing it it's so annoying she's been around them for weeks now and acts like it's the end of the world

Many pullets will become very vocal about a week before they start to lay. It's one way I can tell when one is about to begin.
Omg she's driving me crazy :lau I love her so much but it's driving me absolutely insane and I'm dealing with a sick baby right now so I'm already stressed. I try to hug her to calm her down and she does a little but she still wants to scream

As those hormones surge pullets become loud and sometimes aggressive. They do calm down afterwards, some quicker than others. Think of her as going through puberty and all that comes with that.

I got down to just 2 hens. Yesterday for the first time a fox came into the yard and killed 1. We have had an owl swoop down at dusk and get one but never a fox :-( I know it's nature but it still bothers me :-/ Now I'm down to 1 2yr old and four 7week olds. I tried to mix/mingle them and the 2yr old will single one out and peck it. I separated them again. Can I let her do this or keep them separate? Is it just a matter of letting them get used to each other?

Keep them separated by a fence for at least a week before beginning supervised mingling. Expect it to take some time before she accepts them.
