2 days ago I checked the nesting boxes and saw no eggs at all. This morning I check and there was 4 whole eggs! I was in complete shock. I took the eggs out and went to check one more time in the late evening and there was one more eggs. so that makes a total of 5 eggs in 2 days!
Her comb is extremely red, and if you go to try and pick her up she squats. Shes the only one showing signs of mature egg laying capabilities! She is 32 weeks old, so for easy math let’s just say she’s 7 months old! I have another hen the same age as her, but she’s not showing any signs of laying. So I do believe it’s my one hen that’s showing signs. I am excited to see if there is any eggs in their nesting boxes tomorrow! Today has been a exciting day!
