My girl has stopped laying

Hey y’all! My Easter egger just stopped laying a few weeks ago. She is acting normal but I am worried something could be wrong since she hasn’t layed an egg in forever. I thought she would slow down a bit with the change of the season but didn’t expect her to just stop. Is this normal?

Hello! I believe she stopped laying because of the change of season. But she will probably start laying again when it gets warmer!

Chickens do have zero egg days. It's good for them to take a break from it.

How old is she, in months?
If ~14-18 months, then she will stop with the shortened days and will molt soon.

Do you free range?

EE's can be inconsistent layers.

She is seven months and I let them out in the afternoons. She was giving us eggs every day for a while now. I thought it may be the change of season but I wanted to ask just to be sure.
