My girl laid this. She wont eat or drink and just wants to stay in nesting box. Im scared for her.

Break the pill and half, and pop it in her beak. She needs calcium to stimulate contractions.

Just pull down on her wattles or loose skin under her beak to get her to open her beak and pop it in. She can actually handle the whole pill. Let her close her beak and she'll swallow it. Did you know a chicken can swallow a whole mouse?

Ask crazy as it sounds I did know this. We had a brief mouse problem and I couldn't believe how the chickens attacked them.
