My girl...

I don't see any reason to separate her unless she has sores, redness, irritation. You can feed them all some higher protein food for a bit. Or just give them some nice meal worms, black oil sunflower seed, scrambled egg for a high protein snack.

When they go to roost in the evening, stick around and watch them until they settle for sleep. Is any other birds picking her? There is usually a lot of drama when they go to roost.

Sounds like I need to give her a rub down on a white sheet, put the trail cam in the pointed at the roost, and try some high protein food.

I’d love to figure out what the problem is, but truth is I just want her to be good and feathery again!

I will check her over better for some sort of bug. Is the feather fixer safe to give the others who are not having a problem or should I quarantine her? I’m considering separating her anyway...problem is they all go nuts if one isn’t with the group. :(
Could you make a pen within the pen that they could see each other yet still be separated?

Although not routine, there are instances where first year pullets molt. Are pin feathers filling on the bare spots ?
I wondered that also since her skin is not at all irritated or swollen. She does have pin feathers but they are not uniform. Also, there are no piles of feathers anywhere. Sure we see one ir two lying around but I would definitely notice a bunch.
