I have 11 golden comets born the middle of March
They began laying the first week of July at 15weeks
I was told they begin to lay early but was still thrilled
that they did.

They are still going strong and I get 11 eggs most days.
I keep thinking wow! If I'm dreaming don't wake me up.
They lay huge brown eggs but I am thinking about adding
about 3 EEs to the flock. I want some green and blue eggs too.
Now I am wondering do I want to take the chance of upsetting
them while they are on a roll. Do you think I should wait or
go ahead and get the EEs?

EE's aren't early girls like the Comets, but they sure are pretty and so are their eggs. I'd recommend EE's to anyone who wants lovely birds and colorful eggs. Take all the precautions adding new birds to your flock though!!

I was wondering about adding chickens too, I have three BRs and they have been laying really well- if I add new birds (after taking all precautions) will it upset their laying?
