My girls are cranking out the Eggs!

For the past few weeks I was getting 1 or 2 eggs a day from my 7 hens. The last 3 days I am getting 6 a day! The extra light in the coop must be making them happy! (Me too)

I have 10 hens and I'm only getting 3 a day!! O how I wish the others would come around...

My 12 RIR's started laying in July. I've been getting 11 to 12 eggs everyday. About every 3 to 4 weeks I will only get 9 eggs.

Our 4 hens only gave us 1 egg yesterday. The slackers!

Light helps! I get 5 or 6 eggs a day from my seven hens..lil bit quit laying , went broody and wont lay now? Shes a buff cochin..thought she was moulting but noticed it was pecking order..shes the only little one!

How long have you had supplemental light going? I just started mine a few days ago after a month of no eggs. They are molting tho...so i gave them a break....
