my girls are eating their eggs!

they have plenty of water and feed they get grit one day then clam shells the next. we were normaly pulling out the eggs once a day, but began to notice broken eggs in their nests and have seen them pecking at the leftovers and new eggs. we now have to pull eggs three times a day and still lose one here and there. seemed to begin after cold weater set in? any ideas on my problem?

Do you have plenty of nests for the amount of chickens? I'm thinking too many walking in & out breaking them & then eating them?
