My girls have been so quiet today it makes me worry...

This seems like a silly thing to worry about, but I noticed that my 4 6 week old pullets have been very quiet today. We were very busy yesterday so they didn't get as much attention as they are used to, but they may have been rather quiet yesterday too. I changed their wood pellets out last night and put in pine chips, would this have them freaked out?

Count your lucky stars. Trust me, they will make up for it later when the weather warms and they decide to voice their joy every hour for all the neighborhood to hear.

LOL! Okay! I guess it just made me think about when my kids are quiet... usually means they are up to no good.

Is it windy there today? We are having horrendous winds and my flock is being quiet and just trying to stay out of it.
