My girls layed a couple if there first egg a couple days ago and haven't lay since is the normal also I have grit for them do I give it by itseft or with food and is grit good for them

They probably are just getting into the laying routine, so they will start laying again soon.
Also, grit is good for them. It helps gind up thier food in their gizzard.
You can feed grit it to them either way. I would give them a pound or two of it once a month.
