My goat story...need help

You could also build a box out of plywood large enough for her to fit in. Once inside the box she'll lay down and probably go to sleep. I've had several people who bought goats in the winter use a large plywood box to transport them, even in the back of a truck, so they won't get too cold and catch pneumonia. Of course I had one guy buy two does that were four months old. He layed down the back seat in his wife's Honda Odessey mini-van, spread out a tarp, and loaded the goats. He only had a few miles to go.

I usually recommend the 30 day period if the buck doesn't immediately breed her when you unload her. That way you catch 2 heat cycles.
