My goats wont eat anything.

My angoras eat 3lbs grain every day per goat. Give them a little in the morning and a little in the evening, then they get hay and grass to munch on throughout the day, too many treats will make them fat and spoiled. Unless the goats are HUNGRY, they won't holler for feed all the time

Good to know. I’ve been very skimpy on the grain. But might up it a bit as they have been jumping the fence to nibble our lovely day Lillie’s.

Amount of grsin has to do with the amount of goat you have and their weight. I have four that are from about 120 pounds to 140 and they each get one cup twice a day. But they are out most of the day stripping bark off of trees and eating shrubery Rhubarb is extremely extremely toxic to goats. There’s actually a lot of things even wild plants and ornamental plants that are highly toxic to goats. There are many lists online of plants that are toxic to goats and some of them really surprised me but definitely definitely good to know. I made sure I check that list after my six month old kids got azalea poisoning. I was a nervous wreck for two days but they’re good to go now

And I wouldn’t worry too much as long as they are eating the grain. Buy goats will eat a chunk of banana or a handful of Cheerios but they will not touch any other kind of vegetable or fruit which surprised me. They’ve tried to eat a light bulb beforeBut won’t eat an apple slice. Goats are weird go figure. I do pull down a sweet gum branch for them every once in a while. They are in sane about sweetgum

3 pounds?! Maybe I’m depriving my goats. They seem plump enough. LOL or maybe Angoras were larger than I thought

All good info. DAYLILLIES. ha who would thought. Man them goats are weird suckers. So much fun but geez so damn fussy. There were eating the pine needles off the tree today. Pretty sure that can’t be good.

There still happy though.
