After reading this post yesterday:

https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=330773&p=1

I went out and took a closer look at my chicks that look identical to that one (last night). I read the responding posts saying that it was a little soon to tell and to wait, so I crossed my fingers and went to bed. Over night their combs are starting to look more rooish, they are pinker, and I think the chicks have the start of wattles. On closer inspection, my chicks seem to have a bit more tail feathering than the other posters, and the comb is slightly bigger this morning and definitely showing signs of pink. I was under the impression that the whole purpose of sex links was that they were sexed and you could be sure to get a hen..

..I am new at this though, so I could be wrong.

Anyway, if this is a roo, what exactly is the breed going to be of its offspring since/if it is a golden sex link? I live in the country and all, so I can keep a roo, but I am worried about aggressiveness... I have small children. I had been hoping to get a BO roo when I had gotten a little more experience under my belt.

I know it would..but I cannot

That is why I linked to the other posters post. Their pics look identical to mine with the exception of my chicks combs are starting to look slightly bigger and pinker (only slightly) than the other posters chick. Other than the slight extra comb development, I thought that posters chick was my chick. I saw the pic and said "Hey how did they get my chicks picture."

Seriously, they could be twins!
