I have a baby goose and she wont eat much. She ate a couple of worms this morning and then ate a little bit of chicken food. Is there anything I can do to make her eat more? She is alone we are getting a companion for her on Friday please let me know if there is anything I can do to help her.

You could try mixing treats like cracked corn, spinach or peas and maybe even a boiled egg with her food. And a friend might make her happy!

We put some shredded apple and zuchinie in with her food but she still isn't eating. She took a few bites then went back to her stuffed animal

How is she drinking and what kind of water container are you using?

Waterfowl need to be able to dunk their bills completely. Using a small dish of water with some crumble dropped into the water could help get her going.

You mentioned worms. I'm not sure what kind of worms but I think she'd need chick sized granite grit to be able to digest anything except chick food.

What kind of chicken food did you give her? Some are better than others for ducks and geese.

Hmm. Idk what to really do except wait and keep trying to get her to eat. Hope it gets better!!!!! I would hate to see her get sick.

We are using a tumpaware dish that is deep brought for her to put her whole beak into and her food us crumbled in the water already we find worms out in the yard for her but if they are big we do cut them up for her. (Never thought I'd say that lol) and as for food we feed her the brand Bar L
