my grandma passed today

Grandma's are SO special. I lost mine in 1995, & STILL miss her terribly. I've also lost a brother & father, so I feel your grief.

My Oma just passed away a few months ago, at 97. We gave our chicken lulu a middle name in her honor so now she is lulu louise. My Oma's name was Marie Louise. Oma always asked about our chickens, she raised them also as a girl. She never liked them though and thought that it was so funny that we had them. Sorry for your loss. Be glad you had her as long as you did.

I, too, am sorry for your loss. It really does sound as if Grandpa came to fetch her. He missed her too much.

They are happily getting reaquainted in Heaven (or whichever afterlife you believe in). Be happy you had her and be happy now that she is in no pain and is reunited with her mate.

Keep an open heart, and you'll feel her check in on you.
