My guinea keets have been gone missing!

So today i woke up for a depressing morning as i see my cage completely DESTROYED!! of course ive gone in panic mode ive searched everywhere but i couldnt find nothing but feathers all i want at least these 6 keet's body... So i van be sure they are not killed or is... They are about 3 months old so they can fly so where possibly can i go and find them.. I live in a city and there is a lot of cats.. So if you have any knowledge of where cats hide thier food please tell me , plus i am planning a way to kill and revenge for my beautiful keets.. What can i possibly use to kill these cats i tried zinc and it didnt work! Please tell me Answers!!

#1 your on a chicken website asking how to kill cats because your first attempt failed.

#2 it looks to me you used plastic milk crates in some sort of pile on your porch in a city to protect baby animal's that other animals consider food

If a cat did eat the baby birds its not the fault of the cat those birds were not protected.

Now your lucky neighbors have someone planning revenge on all the neighborhood cats and whatever other animals happen upon your zinc or whatever other poison or method you planning as revenge.

Its probably better if i close this thread and shut up now.

I dont know what kind of cats yall have, that would do that... now, I'm gonna go hug mi familiars for being such well behaved ladies that I can leave a baby with them and they wont touch it.

This was not the intruders fault, it was your fault for not providing enough protection for the keets. You are the only one to blame in this scenario. Don’t go around killing other people’s beloved pet cats just because you think they took your keets.

Are these feral street cats?

How many cats do you think you’re going to need to remove to make it safe to raise fowl?

Do you have access to a trap of any sort?

I’m guessing that the cat situation in your country is a bit different than what most folks on this site are familiar with.

But if you have a large population of urban street cats in your city, you might have to give a little more detail about your situation, otherwise folks on this site are going to have trouble understanding that the situation in your country / city is not like their own.

I had trouble with a neighbors dogs. I called the police, I called the neighbor three times to remove her dogs from my property. Finally her dog had my dead hen in its mouth and I shot the dog. buried them together. The neighbor heard the gun and figured out what happened when her dog never came home. She came knocking on my door. Not a pleasant experience. Then I did what I should have done in the first place, I improved my facilities. The cage, coop, and run is now worthy keeping pets.
