My guineas and chickens live together w/ no problem. But I think its hit and miss, just be prepared to house someplace else if there is trouble. Guineas will gang up on a single rooster or hen, they do not fight fair.
No way can I answer that question, Debbie. My Guineas focused more on my chickens when my flock was smaller. Once the numbers started to climb they focused more on each other. But in the Spring the males in the Guinea flock threaten my roosters. Since I have multiple breeding pens I have multiple roosters.
I had a half grown keet nail one of my silkie girls in the head causing a head injury. No way, no how will I ever house Guineas and Chickens together again. Nor will I allow any of my chickens brood eggs. Its just not worth it to me to take the risk.

They start laying around 5-6 months old. They only lay in the spring, summer and early fall. If you got more guineas, yes they would all get along and stay together. Hope this helps!

Thanks ever so much for answering these questions for me, I sure do appriciate it! So far my gang is getting along welll except for a couple of roosters going at each other spring fever early! I am probably going to get rid of 2 of the 4 roosters.
Also Guinea males will fight a chicken rooster and will prob. injure him pretty bad. even though guinea males don't have spurs they are really strong and sneaky with they fight.
