My Hatching Journey: the Adventures of a Complete Newbie

Oh, really??? I thought the 9300 would be better, thanks for letting me know... :)

If bama was still around, he would tell you the horror stories from his hatches(fails) in those... he upgraded to a Genesis last year and has been super happy since...

I think AmyLynn has ran into that too... believe the LG she gets good hatches out of is a 9200...

Yeah, you would think newer would be better, but seems when they went digital, they really went wrong for LG's... I do hear of a good one once in a while, but they're few and far between...

So looking back at previous candle pictures and results, 2/3 eggs in lockdown are actually scrambled. They have the same yellow hue. Should I just open the bator and grab 2 of the dead ones? There is no way they are alive.

I checked carefully for smells. Spending hours scrubbing an incubator isn't exactly on my to-do list.

Interesting note: The air cells are not very slanted, I had a hard time telling which side was the lower side. (Also a tad small---I might run completely dry next time) Any idea what might be causing that? It was on all 12 eggs.

Hello all!
I am so excited!!! I always have the coop cam on and streaming to my laptop. Today is Day 21, but I really wasn't expecting anything... then I heard cheeping as I walked by the table. There are at least 2 chicks so far!!!
