Hello all My poor Brahma has lost weight, she’s walking strange likes it’s hard for her to walk. I’ve been talking to her that online and she had instructed me to use garlic and I did that for a while use natural items for her arthritis which I am still doing that. She thinks that the poor thing might have heart trouble or kidney problems.or cancer I wormed her I gave her Boswell for inflammation She is seven years old. But I will post a couple YouTube videos one is just the noises she’s making that I took tonight it’s it’s dark but you can hear the noises the other one is the way she’s walking I think I still got that one.

.

Thank you for your help

Hello there, please don't give her anything else until you figure our what's wrong. Many natural things are toxic to birds.
What is her diet? Brand and type?
What age?
How long has she been like this?
All of her symptoms?
Any mucus?
Do you mean the sudden noise? It sounds like hiccups actually.

She is 7 She’s very skinny has a hard time walking. And Vet is actually giving me the information to give to her. Unfortunately I think it’s some thing like Cancer because she’s lost so much weight. And I have wormed her. And she eats very well. I mix egg layers feed with high protein because three of my chickens are not laying and I give them dry worms every day. Put some honey in the water and some vitamins. She’s the only one in this predicament she has a sister that’s the same exact age.

What is Boswell? I hear an occasional sneeze in the first video, and normal chicken noises. Sneezing can be common once in awhile and during eating when something irritates the nostrils. Dust or poor ventilation can add to it. When it occurs more often, that can be an early symptom of a respiratory disease. Look for any drainage from the nostrils that collects dirt, bubbles in one eye, swelling of an eyelid, and gasping. I don’t notice limping, but she might have arthritis or have hurt her leg jumping down. She is a bit of a senior citizen, so she may be losing weight because of age, or some of the health problems chickens suffer. Cancer and reproductive disorders are common in older hens. I would just make sure that she is getting around well enough to eat and drink well.
