sigh. i know he’s a boy, i just don’t want to get rid of him just yet. his yellow feet point toward jersey giant - he’s not fancy like my other cockerel was and so will likely end up on someone’s dinner plate. circle of life and all that but i have a tender heart!

He's a very impressive looking bird and JGs aren't all that common. I think there's a good possibility someone would want him.

I don't know, at 12 weeks, the first one looks like a pullet to me... but I don't have any Dominiques... so could be wrong.

just updating this thread to tell @JedJackson you were totally right, my spitzhauben “pullet” turned out to be a cockerel. he crowed at the beginning of the week.
