My broody hen has not allowed me to get near the nest for at least a week. I was finally able to access the eggs tonight and found three new eggs that were laid by my other hens. I am unsure how long the eggs have been there but at most a week, but they have been sat on since they were hatched.
I have candled them and confirmed they are not fertilized.
Are they safe to eat?

Personally, I would not allow any hen to 'not allow me' to access anything.
Gloves and long thick sleeves at first if necessary, but she would get used to me looking at what I want to look at. If you're calm and confident, she will learn to be calm and confident that you are not going to hurt her.
