My hen has a bald spot on her back

Today while I was feeding my hens I noticed that one of them was Balding pretty seriously on her back i don’t think she is moulting because she is only 11 months old and it’s april. Here’s a picture of her back

Do you have a rooster? Looks like rooster wearing from mating.

Looks like spring cockerel love to me I have the same thing going on with several hens and my cockerel is about 8 months old and very active with the girls.

No I don’t have a rooster or a cockerel. But I used to have one back in December do you think maybe her feathers were covering the patch but they moved?

If you no longer have a rooster and it is continuing to get worse than you may have a feather picker.
